What is Shea butter?
- Shea butter is a fat extracted from the nut of the African Shea tree called Vitellaria. Shea butter is more than a great product for people who have dry/sensitive skin. It's been a excellent product for me and my family when it comes to having dry skin and has helped a few of my family members (kids especially) with their eczema (helped not cured). It can also be used for many things including a moisturizer for your body , lip balm, stretch marks or acne prone skin etc. Shea butter is already made Unrefined meaning not processed bleached or chemically altered.
What is the texture of the Shea butter?
- The Shea butter has a smooth and creamy oil base after mixing but is not greasy. Once applied onto skin it absorbs well.
Unrefined Raw Shea Butter
( thicker , whipped texture)
East African Shea Nilotica
(more creamier/smooth)
Natural Cocoa-butter
( small soft once mixed becomes a thick but creamy texture as well)
Mango Butter ( soft , creamy texture ) I use this butter for my Mango scented body butter, so you are getting real Mango butter!
Cupuacu Butter ( soft , cream )
I have eczema , will Shea Butter help?
Please consult with your doctor for any questions/concerns regarding any serious skin conditions. I am not authorized to treat cure or perscribe medications all of my products are made to be used as a moisturizer.
What is in your butters?
Shea butter is already a naturally grown product so it doesn't require added ingredients but for the process to make a body butter I do use plant base oils. Mango and Cocoa butters are my only butters with the appropriate added fragrance oils.
Does the products with added fragrance oils have a strong scent?
No. I use the recommeded measurements of fragrance oils to add in my products anything over the recommeded amount can be toxic or harmful. My products arent made for fragrance purposes but for people who are looking for a natural moisturzer.
Can I use the butters anywhere?
Start off with a dime size on your arms or hands to test first. A lot of people use the butters on their problem areas such as ; knees, elbows and feet.
My butter melted what can I do to restore it?
Unfortunately , during shipping butters can melt or have crystalization [small pellets /beads] depending on customers location so keep this in mind when purchasing if you live in a warmer region. During shipping insinlated cooling packs are inserted in packing to try to prevent this from happening , along with instructions on how to store the butters. If this occurs there are no refunds/returns due to health regulations and unwareness of how product was handled after purchased. You can try to place butters in a freezer for 15 minutes or however long it takes to make it a soft/solid texture and then use a hand mixer to get it back to its original texture. If its too hard try melting butter in microwave with a container that is mircowavable safe. It's hard to get shea butters back to their orginial textures after theyve been damaged.
